3D Model

Introduction
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks was my favourite game from my Childhood. I have beaten it time and time again and am still playing it here and there to this day.
I always wanted Nintendo to make a remake of the game or hint at its existence again however its 10 year anniversary passed in 2019 and they didn't acknowledge its existance. The only game that has referenced it is Super Smash Bros Ultimate which has a stage for it that came from the Wii U version and was given a makeover.
After hoping for something we still are going on no remakes and no new information or anything for Lozst so I decided to finally make something and port it to newer games such as Derail Valley a 3D train simulator that also has VR Simulation with proper hand interaction!
The Model
For the model I was initially going to remake it from the ground up but instead decided to Rip the model from SSBU as that train model was decently detailed and was also a decent remake of the original train!
After getting the model I had to remake the backside of it as on the map you only saw one side of the train model so only one side was actually detailed.
After redoing the backside of the engine I had to texture it and Animate the wheels. Both of which I have never done before making this so that was an interesting to say the least.
In the end I am quite happy with it and am very excited to get it ported into a game or to 3D print it, it still needs work but for now I think it will do!
I'm not done yet!
I figured I'd finish the engine and call it there but instead I decided to grab the other models for the rest of the engine from that stage and detailed them and got them ready to be textured an animated aswell!
I also added a ground to make things look more interesting while I am modeling them!
Final Thoughts
I plan to finish this model and when I do I will post all the models and their textures/animations here for everyone to download! Thanks for reading!
